Did you know that today is National Librarian Day? What a Silver Lining it is that there is a whole day dedicated to librarians. My most vivid memory of elementary school (aside from dodgeball – where we used REAL balls, not those nerf things that are used today!) is spending time in the library, with the librarian. Any librarian. While growing up, I thought that it would be the coolest thing in the world to be able to be either a librarian or to own a bookstore. I couldn’t dream of anything more wonderful than spending all day, everyday surrounded by books.
A ginormous THANK YOU to all of the librarians for all that you do for children!
