I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma in February, 1999 while living in Dallas, TX. I had just had a mammogram the week before which normal. While I was taking a shower I found a lump in my left breast at 12:00. I underwent a lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiation. Today, I am cancer free 13 years later.
