This week I came across the most delish recipe that I had to share with you. I found it in this month’s Martha Stewart magazine. Can I just say for a minute how much I am loving the magazine these days? It’s terrific! I think that the (relatively) new Editor-in-Chief, Pilar Guzman, is doing a fantastic job and I look forward to every issue.
Ok, back to Fixin’s. I came across this Wild Rice with Balsamic Mushroom recipe and had to try it. Of course I vegan-ized it (by exchanging chicken broth for vegetable broth and butter for earth balance “butter”). By the way, just for the record, the vegan-ization process is easy peasy and doesn’t take a thing away from the taste (Silver Lining).
