Have you yet heard of Zach Sobiech? Well, let me ask you: Are you by any wild chance having a rough day? Or just need a pick-me-up? Well, oh my goodness gracious, do I have an inspiration for you today. I can’t even stand how amazing this SoulPancake video of Zach Sobiech is. It is a beautiful Silver Lining in my life that I had to share with you.
Zach was a 17 year-old. He died from Osteosarcoma (cancerous bone tumor). He spread (and continues to spread) the message that:
You don’t have to find out that you are dying to start living.
Zach expressed himself through music. It was, he said, a way to “express himself without burdening anyone.” In fact he immortalized himself in his family and friends’ minds and hearts through songs that he wrote for them, and one in particular, “Clouds”, became a YouTube sensation. It turns out that his music is a Silver Lining for the whole world. Here is the “Clouds” music video:
One of his friends describes him as “a testament to the fact that things are ok when you believe in something greater in the world.” Good heavens. Does it GET better than that? I don’t THINK so!
Okay, okay…I could go on. Here is the longer video with Zach and his extraordinary life lessons. Please take the 22 minutes to watch it. It is worth for your time!
I hope that Zach inspires you as much as he has me! I think that it is a Silver Lining that this video has been seen by 7.8 MILLION plus people.
