Today we bought and delivered Christmas gifts for two families whom we have never and probably will never meet. That, to me, is what Christmas is all about.

I did the same delivering of gifts to two families in need last Saturday with a friend. Our Church participated in the Angel Tree of gifts for children with an incarcerated parent; also for some elderly folks in nursing homes without family. I bought gifts for a 7-yr-old girl, Brianna, whose Father is in prison. We do two wrapped gifts, one of clothing and one for fun. The gifts are all brought to our Church and placed under the tree until we deliver them Sat. Dec. 15. We go in pairs to a couple of homes each. It definitely fulfills in us the real spirit and meaning of Christmas.
Oh how wonderful, Carolee. It is indeed emblematic of the real spirit and meaning of Christmas. For sure. Merry! Merry!
