My elder sister sent a hard copy of this poem to me in 1987 when working in extremely difficult conditions in a new culture far from home. I still keep it in my notebook as an inspiration and as a reminder of the value of the support and care of family.

I want to thank you for this quote. I'm not a breast cancer survivor, but I am a mother of two boys with bipolar disorder and other health issues. I am starting school this Fall for my 4th time and I am determined to not quit this time and finish school to get my degree. I saw this what I wanna call Inspirational Quote on Pinterest and it describes everything that means so much to me right now. So thank you and I am gonna carry it with me everyday to remind myself not to quit if times get hard.

Thank you for this poem, I read it at just the right time! I hope you know how very important and inspiring your blog is to a lot of people. I have told all my friends about it and sent them the link. Most of us are intimately connected to FBC in one way or another, it is a sisterhood and we are ever so glad to have found you.
