The Silver Pen began as a way
for me to document the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and oftentimes hilarious journey through, with, over and around breast cancer. One year later I'm
still in recovery but now on a
journey to find Silver Linings
in all aspects of life.
i lost my husband to cancer a year ago i cant seem to find a out the whole that is missing he was a wonderful person , he was a great paw paw to my kids and grand kids to which we had 5 by time he passed and now a new little boy so now we have 3 girls and 3 boys .. who miss him also , i have tried to go on but just so hard is there anything advice to go foward to give . to me .. ..
Dear Elizabeth,
It is indeed so hard. Might I recommend a support group? I have led many support groups and have found them to be immensely helpful to people. If not a group, perhaps some individual counseling to help you move forward in your life. The pain of your husband’s death is immense. They say that time is a healer…however, it sure seems as if the clock slows down. I hope that reading The Silver Pen is of some help. Sending all of my very best wishes to you, Elizabeth!
