I had breast cancer in 2011 and it was truly the worst year of my life. Now I am six mos. past chemo and radiation and am on Arimidex and have a zillion side effects. Its pretty awful and I am an optimistic person who loves life but this is rough.
anyway, I wanted to share this blog with you. She lives in Montecito and I literally “live” for her posts. She is super cool and very artistic with her camera, travels, cooking, home style, she is completely amazing.
I have enjoyed your blog immensely and am delving into it!!!!!!! Thank you for all the time you put into it. It is really wonderful and a great diversion.
Be Well,
Leslie
Thanks so much for your note! I am honored to say that Slim Paley is a good friend of mine…isn’t she the BEST? She is included under my “Sites I Love” section. Thank you…and be well!
Thanks for writing Hollye, I am loving your blog site. It is amazing. How are YOU feeling?
I am still fighting with the side affects of Arimidex. Do you know anyone on it????? Its such a rough drug but my oncologist says “tough it out!” Oy vey!
Okaaaaay!
So congrats on thesilverpen.com. I have you on top on my toolbar and am enjoying “You” so much.
Be well,
Leslie M.
Thanks so much for your comment, Leslie. And thank you for asking how I’m feeling. Since I went off of the Tamoxifen, I am feeling better. I still have big fatigue issues, but I believe that this is all part of the long, long recovery.
Thank you for your kind words. I really appreciate it!
Please stay in touch.
Best,
Hollye
Hollye:
You have an amazing site. I was diagnosed with FBC in April 2009 at age 43. I am close to being a 4 year survivor. There is alot of literature, & blogs out there they have such a negative under tone.
When I was first diagnosed they said stay positive, with surgerys , appointments, procedures it is a hard road to travel. I would go on the internet to see if I could find some blogs, notes, articles with a “positive note”. Then I discovered yours AWESOME!
I look forward to going on your site daily to see your contribution to my day. You start my day on a positive note. Here is to a you and your continued success.
Take Care,
Lynn
